 Alpha Connect Day 2026

Sony Electronics (Singapore) Pte. Ltd., through its division company Sony South East Asia ("Sony") is responsible for this Alpha Connect Day (“Event”).

Sony reserves the right to cancel the Event and/or amend the terms and conditions of this Event (“Terms and Conditions”) at any time without prior notice.

Qualifying Entrants

  1. The Event is open only to residents of Cambodia, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Mongolia and Maldives. For the avoidance of doubt, foreigners living in Cambodia, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Mongolia and Maldives with a local residential address may participate in the Event.
  2. The Event will take place on different dates for each country. The relevant Event date for each country is as follows: 14th March 2026 for Bangladesh, 22nd March 2026 for Maldives, 28th March 2026 for Sri Lanka, and Mongolia, 29th March 2026 for Cambodia, 31st March 2026 for Myanmar.
  3. Registration must be submitted via this online submission form. Any other forms of submission will not be accepted. Only Sri Lanka and Maldives are exempted from this condition.
  4. Registration will close once the maximum number of sign-ups (as determined by Sony in its sole discretion) have been reached.
  5. By registering for the Event, you agree to indemnify Sony against any and all claims in relation to your participation of this Event and breach of its Terms and Conditions contained herein. Sony’s rights are hereby expressly reserved.
  6. Employees of Sony and its affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies of Sony together with their employees, and immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each of the aforesaid persons are not eligible to participate in this Event.
  7. Sony reserves the right to disqualify and/or exclude any entries from the Event, for any reason and for no reason, including without limitation, violation of any portion of these Terms and Conditions.

Events Rules

  1. The Event is a competition that comprises three categories. Participants may select only one Event category for participation: “Photo” or “Video”.
  2. Participants can use any brand of digital camera during the Event for the capturing of the photo or video submission (the “Submission”).
  3. Participants using formats other than the Permitted Format (as defined below) must supply their own relevant adaptors / drives. Sony shall not be held liable for the inability to read / download images / loss of images.
  4. All photo Submissions must be captured on the relevant Event date for each country.
  5. Video Submissions may only be recorded once the theme is released 1 day before the relevant Event date for each country.
  6. Each Participant is only allowed to submit one Submission.
  7. Submissions must not be altered by any editing software.
  8. Participants must submit their Submission personally. No proxy Submission by any participant is allowed during the event.
  9. Sony will not be responsible for providing photographic equipment including camera, spare batteries, lenses or additional memory cards. All participants are expected to come prepared with all their photographic equipment.
  10. No changes to a Submission will be allowed once the participant provides the Submission file to the organizers.
  11. You shall hold Sony and all of its officers, directors and employees free and harmless from any liability arising from claims or suits of third parties, including costs and expenses incidental thereto, in connection with the Event.
  12. Participants can use any brand of digital camera during the Event. Drones are not allowed.

Youth Photo Category

  1. Participants age between 15 – 19 years old are eligible to participate.
  2. Participants will receive photo theme on the relevant Event date for each country and will proceed to explore the area (no set location, participants are allowed to go anywhere to shoot at their own discretion).
  3. Participants must submit their photo Submission 4 hours after the theme has been announced on the relevant Event date for each country.
  4. All photographs submitted must be in JPEG format with EXIF data (a “Permitted Format”).
  5. There is no limit on the file size.
  6. Submitted photographs must not be altered by any editing software.
